Handler of the Year

In 2011 our chapter introduced the North Central Wisconsin Handler of the Year award. There is no formal criteria for earning this recognition. Each year, the previous year's winner chooses a handler from the chapter they feel has earned this recognition. While the plaque lists a specific accomplishment, earning the recognition is typically a symbol the handler's hard work with their dog(s) and assisting others.

Each recipient receives a shared plaque that is passed on to the next recipient each year. The Handler of the Year award is presented at the Annual Chapter Meeting each year.
